We are lucky enough to have a Zero Day at the Iron Mountain Inn

We woke up in clean, fresh sheets, with a whirlpool tub in our bathroom, and the smell of potatoes and bacon cooking in the kitchen.  Do I really need to say more?
The night before, Vicky gave us all instructions to put on the Inn's bathrobes and give her all of our laundry.  Need I say more?
She built this really awesome 3-story log inn sitting in the middle of 140 wooded acres.  Very secluded, private, and quiet.  She also has a chalet down the road, but we opted to stay in the inn.  I think we felt the closer to her we were, the better.  She ended up driving us into a nearby town for groceries, and we ended up fixing Italian Sausage Spaghetti for her for supper.  It was a wonderful stay with a wonderful innkeeper!  Hopefully, we can return soon, since I can't convince Keith and Swamprat to stay all week.
We ended up staying 2 nights because of the weather forecast - cold, rainy, and possibly snow.  We will head out in the morning though.  Wish us luck!
